The latest memes and stories by the Lords of Perception are aimed at blaming those pesky almond farmers and highlighting individual usage limits.  The strategy is to get you to forget about enormous amount of water the fracking industry and water bottling plants are using in favor of pitting Californians against each other for using water. As long as industry is using obscene amounts of water to make huge profits, your individual usage of water to survive will remain the issue in the media and the farmers who put food on your table will remain public enemy number one, despite the fact that a great number of farmers in California have gone belly up.
